Loosen each bell housing bolt around the front of the transmission with a ratcheting wrench extension and socket.

15 b with the help of an assistant hold the transmission steady on the jack and move the jack back and away from the engine just slightly so that the transmission separates from the engine then slowly lower the jack.
Place the transmission jack under the transmission and then take a socket wrench and remove the support nut the cross member and the rear support insulator from the rear engine.
