I have 3 that i cycle through and have no complaints with then keep coffee hot a long time don t taste like stainless and hold up well. They ve been around for decades for a reason. I really don t think that you can get any better than the standard diner mug. They re thick so they retain heat they re taller and skinnier so they expose less surface area which also reduces heat loss they re heavy and sturdy so they don t move around easily or break easily and they just feel damn good.

They keep coffee hot longer than anything else because of their light weight 170g and thus very low thermal mass in addition to the insulation provided by the rather sizeable layer of air between the walls.
